How to Request Funds Only teams that have a representative who regularly attends meetings will be eligible for funds. Teams may request funds by filling out an Athletic Team Purchase Request form and getting the item approved by the athletic director. Click the link below to open the Microsoft Word form. The team representative or coach brings the request to a boosters meeting and makes a presentation. All possible funding sources should be researched prior to making the request. For instance, are there funds available through the ASB for this item and can part of this item be funded through the team account.
How Determinations Are Made
Representatives at the Booster Club meeting will evaluate requests considering the following criteria: -
Has the item requested been recently funded -
How old are the uniforms currently in use -
Has the sports team been active in fundraising efforts -
Does the sports team have an active booster club member -
How many athletes/students will the item serve -
How much has been spent on this team previously -
Has a precedent been set to fund this type of activity -
Have other resources been tapped -
Title IX is taken into consideration
